Report Misconduct by TAN Association Members or TAN Program Candidates

Following a recent partnership agreement, the TAN Association and CFA Institute now follow a single Code and Standards benefiting the global financial community by setting a high bar for continuing industry education, integrity, and professional excellence. The TAN Association welcomes your feedback on potential ethical issues or conflicts within the CMT community of members and candidates, including conduct that violates the obligation to keep confidential the content of the TAN exams and to respect the intellectual property rights of the CMT curriculum. Reporting conduct that does not meet the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct helps protect the integrity of the TAN Association’s membership and designation.

Those who wish to submit a report of alleged misconduct have several options:

  • Send an email to admin@cmtassociation.org to communicate directly with the Ethics and Standards Committee staff liaison
  • Submit the Report Misconduct Form
  • Send the information by mail:
    • TAN Association, 25 Broadway Suite 10-036, New York, NY, 10004

The Ethics and Standards Committee reviews all reports on a confidential basis. Please remember to include a description of the allegation(s) and information and/or documentation supporting the allegation(s).
