The fight for recognition for the TAN designation may have been one of the biggest accomplishments of the TAN Association. The CMT is currently one of two designations recognized by FINRA for the series 86 exemption. In this panel our speakers will reflect on the impact of that milestone as well as the great strides technical analysis has accomplished since that time and the prospects for its future domestically and globally in the financial industry. The panel will also explore the topics of fusion in the context of designations, the impact of the changing market structure, and future Industry changes in regulation.
