Olga Yangol is a portfolio manager focusing on Emerging Markets Debt and Currency strategies at HSBC Global Asset Management and the manager of a 2019 Lipper Award-winning fund.

Prior to HSBC, Olga was at PIMCO where she advised large corporations on asset allocation and asset liability management. Prior to that, Olga designed and traded cross-asset derivatives products for corporations and asset managers as an executive director at CIBC Worlds Markets.

A frequent speaker at professional and academic conferences worldwide, and an expert commentator for major media outlets, Olga is well-known for her emerging markets insights and research. She has 16 years of investment experience with expertise in developed and emerging markets rates and foreign exchange, as well as global asset allocation.

She earned an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from McGill University. Olga holds Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Chartered Market Technician and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.
