Marnie Owen, CMT, CFTe, CAIA, CFA, is the Global Head of Technical Analysis at IGM, an independent research firm which is part of Informa Financial Intelligence. As a member of IGM’s editorial team, she brings a multi-disciplinary approach to IGM’s analysis. Prior to joining IGM, Marnie worked as an analyst and trader based in New York, London and Toronto at firms including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. Marnie graduated with an MBA and HBA from Ivey Business School. She is a member of the TAN Association, CAIA, CFA Institute, CFA Society New York and the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts. Marnie currently serves on the Technical Analysis Educational Foundation Board of Directors and co-chairs the Women in Technical Analysis Chapter of the TAN Association.
